Research & Publications Program (RPP)
AJMF aims to encourage a culture of research and publication in the youth of the country by providing them with an enabling yet competitive environment. We believe that many of tomorrow's solutions can be found in communities across the country today. These promising solutions range from volunteerism to Community mobilization. Main activities include: To share the research with consumers, business leaders, advocates and promote the creative work of the young researchers; · To inform policymakers about the best private sector benefits packages, and how they might serve as models for public programs; · To support and fund the researchers to accomplish their goals of research; o To communicate these research findings to policymakers, business leaders, professionals, advocates and others; and · Through original and existing research, the Partnership ought to work closely with policymakers, business leaders and others to identify promising solutions to improve the quality of life, and provide choices for people by offering creative solutions. Principal Objectives Encompass: 1. Citizenship, Participation, Human Rights Education and Intercultural Dialogue; - To make young people aware of human rights and the common human values;
- To support participation and cooperation in the field of youth work and to foster intercultural dialogue and inter-regional cooperation with the outside world
- Social Cohesion, Inclusion and Equal Opportunities;
- To strengthen social cohesion and solidarity especially of young people and to make young people, youth workers and youth leaders aware of the social dimension and its values in their home country and abroad;
- To promote equal opportunities for all, especially for those at risk of exclusion by providing exchange of knowledge and practice and by supporting the development of a sense of solidarity.
- Recognition, Quality and Visibility of Youth Work and Training;
- To train youth workers and youth leaders as well as other multipliers in the youth field, as well as to develop and consolidate innovative training approaches in this context and to sustain and widen existing networks of youth workers and youth leaders.
- To contribute to the recognition of non-formal learning and to foster visibility of youth work with a view to further increase youth work’s positive impact on young people’s personal development, their involvement in society and increased employability.
- Better Understanding and Knowledge of Youth and Youth Policy Development;
- To provide a framework for co-operation relating to the better understanding and knowledge of youth by identifying and updating existing knowledge, by collecting relevant data and information and by organizing networks.
- To contribute to the further development of youth work and youth policy by promoting exchanges, dialogue and networks and to strengthen youth policy development at national and international level with the aim to foster evidence-based youth policies.
Above we at AJMF also intend to establish Millennium Development Research Center (MDRC) wherein we shall encourage young scholars as well as research students to conduct research studies on global development issues and their pragmatic solutions. Their creative writings shall be published in an International Research Journal,” Millennium Development Review” to be edited & published at MDRC by the Foundation. |
