The Program
The
Global Citizenship program at AJMF aims to prepare students in our Schools,
Colleges and Universities for a meaningful engagement with a highly
multi-cultural and rapidly changing outside world. We believe that the youth of
the country must be taught things beyond their routine class-room text-book
knowledge and thus they are enabled to learn to negotiate and understand global
concerns by deliberating on issues confronting humanity across the globe. We
aspire to expose academic institutions of Pakistan and their most promising
students to leadership projects and initiatives being offered by various
international institutions worldwide. AJMF strives to build healthy linkages
and enduring Partnerships with interested external Partners and Associates who
intend to contribute towards the empowerment of the youth by means of unique
capacity building programs that strengthen the leadership potential of students
from around the world. The most pronounced purpose of this initiative is to
provide multi-cultural interaction and find long-term solutions to current global
issues. This will eventually broaden the horizons of our young people through various
activities and discussions with peers from other countries, diplomats,
politicians and experts in diverse areas.
